“Here is a snapshot of just some of the things your new parish council have been doing since the elections in May”
Monitored all planning applications in the Parish and, using our local knowledge, advised Arun District Council of the action we believed that they should take.
Bognor Regis Golf Course and Rampion 2 have been publicised on
our website and information provided to residents.
Held our annual event ‘Fun on the Prom’ for Felpham residents and their families, with entertainment, stalls and refreshments throughout the day and evening.
Considered road traffic mitigation schemes for Felpham. This year we have lodged a Community Highways Application to mitigate speeding in Limmer Lane, Felpham.
Ran a new Halloween ‘Freaky Felpham’ event for families.
Approved funding of up to £10,000.00 to enhance the King George V playground facilities in a partnership project with Arun District Council.
Plus ...
Planted flowering verge trees to improve the environment and surroundings for residents.
Ran and maintained the Community Hall
Made grants to benefit local residents.
Assisted parishioners with all enquiries to the Parish Office
Ran a Youth Club at the Felpham Community Hall in conjunction with Worthing
Homes.
Provided two allotment sites for Felpham residents and worked to create additional
plots.
Relaunched the Felpham Emergency Resilience Group
Ran Community First Aid Awareness Sessions
